POOL OF MONEY

There is a special kind of insurance that provides a pool of money that can be used for almost any type of Long-term care. While most policies specify how much they will pay for Home Health Care vs. Nursing Home Care, this plan makes money available for either, in the case of Catastrophic Illness.

Money can be used for basic Homemaker Services which may be done by family members, friends or religious organizations. A second level would include Home Health Aides, who could help with bathing , dressing, feeding, toileting and transferring, as needed. Skilled Nursing Care at home might be a speech or physical therapist, licensed nurses and nutritionists.

The pool of money may also be used for Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Day Care Centers, Hospice Care, and traditional Residential Care. Alzheimer Centers are also available.

No prior hospitalization is required. Pre-existing conditions are covered immediately. Premiums do not increase with age, and there is a 10% to 50% marital discount.
